Chelation Therapy is an intravenous therapy using the synthetic amino acid EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetracetic Acid) which has the ability to "bond" or "hook onto" atoms of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury, calcium and some trace metals. These metals combined with the EDTA are eliminated from the body through the kidneys into the urine.
Heavy metal accumulation in the body may contribute to many health problems by triggering formation of "free radicals". These health problems may include: hardening of the arteries, circulation problems, neuro-degenerative, auto-immune diseases and others.
We hope to significantly reduce or reverse free radical damage by removing these heavy metals. |
